How did Butterflies Chasing Mustard Seeds Ministry get it's name?
God named this ministry through prayer, and lots of direction and guidance.The name came about during a eight month stay in a one bedroom apt. in Sevierville, Tennessee from Oct. 2023-July 2024.
Nancy is available to share many testimonies and to meet in a group setting to discuss forgiveness, Bitter Roots and how they bite and how generational sins can curse families if not broken off in the name of JESUS. AMEN!
What, Where, When, Why and How
Butterflies Chasing Mustard Seeds, Inc. began as a small traveling ministry in 2017 after many horrific battles with Insurance, hospitals, physicians, a liver transplant, a fallen real estate market, a husband paralyzed by a massive stroke and helping to take care of a dad in a nursing home for three and a half years that had massive strokes and could never talk again except for one sentence God allowed him to speak clearly out of his mouth many times a day until about six days before he took his last breath.
Nancy loss her Dad in 2011 and Mother in 2019.
Mr. Ales Cahlik (forty six) was the first family that Nancy had sold a piece of land too.
He died of liver cancer just a week after moving him into our home and Mrs. Ginny Davidson ninety three years young.
I had brought back from Fort Mill, SC to live out the rest of her life around her church family.
During this time, I had place Mrs. Ginny in the Widows Care Center, then Assisted Living and then Pigeon Forge Nursing home onto cremation.
Mrs. Ginny was a strong Christian woman who loved and prayed for everyone she come in contact with.
The only income was her SS. I spent ten months fighting with Tenn Care to get Mrs. Ginny on medicaid.
Mrs. Ginny had no children, only a older sister in California.
I knew Mrs. Ginny had prayed consistently for me and my family for years before and during transplant.
I sensed in my heart Mrs. Ginny having the need to lean on me.
Someone to take care of her in her last days.
I prayed consistently and earnestly for God not to let me turn my back on her if he had called me to help. God called. :)
I could no longer visit Mrs. Ginny every week. We had lost our home and was struggling to get moved back to the old home place in Conway.
Thanks to my older sister Kathy Hardwick who was living with us at the time and fighting her own battles, Selfishly, visited Mrs. Ginny every week to read her Bible to her and polish Mrs.. Ginny's nails and toes.
It takes a humble soul to touch others during their dying days. Mrs. Kathy Hardwick is that kind of a woman after God's own heart.
I could not find them little Bibles anywhere I searched. I spent close to a year searching.
One day, I received a letter from PA. for Mrs. Ginny. I took the letter to Ginny and as I was reading the last page of the letter, much to my surprised, taped to the back of the letter was that same little red Bible I had received from a older man at age eleven at an outdoor Christian Revival while visiting my grandmother Hardwick and I attended in Marion SC. around 1971.
