Why Jesus, and Why Salvation

A CALL TO REPENTANCE

The sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret leading to salvation. But the sorrow of the world brings death.  

2 Corinthians 7:10 learn more Corins 7:10-16

14. Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood. 

He himself likewise shared I the same , that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is the devil, 

15. and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject  to bondage. 

16.  For indeed He does not give aid to angels., but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham. "

17. Therefore ,  in all things He had to be made  like his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful  High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. 

18. For in that he himself had suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are  tempted.

Hebrews 2: 14-18 kjv

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 

John 14:6 kjv

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of  GOD is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord'. 

Romans 6:23 Kjv

 "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved".  

Romans 10:9

Jesus paid our sin debt, 

the day he was crucified.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Lord, I recognize my sin, agree with you what your Word says about it, and commit my life to you. Amen.
